Meeting called to order at 0915 on by Sharon Chandler, President.

Meeting Minutes accepted as written.
3. Legislative Update Susan McDevitt
Discussion: A) Emergency Service Task Force - report was submitted to
Governor. Summary: division plans are part of the principles of patient
destination policies and procedures are developed by the system's EMS
Medical Director.
B) No Neonatal inspection for 2nd quarter. Responses has been excellent from
both surveyors as well as program. Neonatal Inspection Site Survey looked at
Benchmark, Protocols, PI with outcome base Best Practice Benchmark by CAMTS.

Officer/Board Member Reports:
President Report S. Chandler
Presented annual report. Grants request due in June. Transformational
Committee: A. Paramedics Educational Survey B. Medical Direction and
Clinical Care Attribute. C. Public Access and Communication System Attribute
Team. Storage of Medication- Goals for 2003. In process of doing literature
search and work with drug companies.
Secretary/Treasurer: M. Fernandez

Discussion: AMTC Sept. 24-26. Conflict with Nitric Oxide Conference given
by Shands on Sept. 24, 25. AMTC Conference information: www.aams.org
Recommendation on Disney Leadership Program (Pre-Conference) "Welcome
to Florida Party" - New for conference. Room monitor needed - 4 hours/8hours.
Need about 50 participants.

C. NRP Guidelines-Educational Committee for 2002 to be offered at ClinCon
D. Thanks to David Summus for an excellent job with website. Send all Educational Information to D. Summers.
E. Incidents/Fingerprints/Dental Records. J. Delgado presented as a excellent
tool to have in place. Does not place the family in a difficult situation of identifying their loved ones.
