Revision of 64-E |
David Shatz MD from the Trauma Surgeon’s is working with a group to revise statue 64-E. The adult side has eliminated the list of equipment and supplies, moving toward treating for diagnosis. They are requesting that we reevaluate the neonatal portion. The group voiced that we had worked hard to develop that list and had refined it only two years ago with development workshops. It was felt that it is a basic safety list and a guide for new teams. The members present reviewed the list. Phenobarbitol was eliminated due to the fact that we have a sedative and anticonvulsant of the medical directors choice on the list already. The group voted to keep the list with the one change. |
Dr Shatz will take to advisory council on Friday. |

We have also added updated officer contacts and will be adding pictures. If you are an officer or board member please send you picture to David. We will also be adding (with Louise Bowen’s permission) a presentation she worked on to the history section of the website. |

Conference Call Ability |
Colleen presented three options she had found for developing conference call abilities for the meeting. Option one was a company that offered an 800 number for 20 cents per minute per person, another offered 10 cents per minute and another offered a long distance number that each person could call and pay the associated charge. Susan McDevitt voiced that the state had an option for this feature also. |
Colleen Cowie – will get with Susan McDevitt after the meeting to explore the option. |
