Proposed Amendment to FAMA By-laws

Johnny Delgado, President has proposed the following amendments to the current by-laws. A vote to include these amendments will be taken at the next meeting in July 2003.

…”the president may call for a special election at any meeting, other than the annual meeting, for the purpose of selecting a President-Elect, if the position remains vacant beyond the annual meeting”

“ the President and President –Elect may only serve 2 successive terms before vacating the position(s). A President or President –Elect may return to either office by a vote of the membership after a hiatus of two years (one complete term).
